Finally back to church today. Although it was just for the rehearsal for this Sunday's ROA.
I'm quite excited and at the same time having butterflies in my stomach.
Today the client contacted M to say that his client, liked our ideas very much and there is a high chance of getting the pitch. phew.... at least A, N and my hard work and late nights paid off.
Seeing the messed up traffic plus the upcoming CNY, i could only foresee more late nights. GOD will help me pull through this difficult time. I just hope there wont be later nights like yesterday, when i could only leave the office at 230am.
Today (15th), the bf's family's new Avante was finally ready for collection.
I've warned him before to be more firm on the petrol consumption and i hope he will try to convey the message through........
Yes, i mentioned it belongs to the family.. BUT. the big 'but' is, bf is gonna be solely responsible for the car's petrol. So................... he cant keep claiming and pumping petrol for someone who uses and not pump petrol, right??? Short distance ok la, if he frequents TPY again. But ah.. to use it for the own entertainment, go out gai gai and stuff, as a responsible Adult, something should be done la. I dont worry about the parents because they are a lot more responsible adults than us.
Because bf still got to save up for our future.. not just supporting the family's expenses alone lei. The big burden coming our way will be what we will carry for the next 30yrs. And that, is excluding wedding, renovation and furniture savings that we have to set aside.
I recently joined the punggol.org forum to get to know my future breeze neighbours. Topics that they've discussed before like wedding, reno and stuff really set me thinking and the idea of the huge amount of DEBTS that we have to pay off is terrifying. I might as well forget about any trips this year if we really want to be VERY Thrifty.
